The match today (Sunday 3/15/26) was an important match for both Liverpool and Tottenham.

Liverpool dominated possession of the ball throughout the match and total shots put up with 64% possession and 16 shots to Tottenham’s 12.
This led to the Reds taking the early lead in the 18th minute after a goal from Dominik Szoboszlai, the only goal of the first half.
The game remained quiet but exciting for almost the entire second half. The one column of the stats sheet that Tottenham really dominated was the shots on goal, and it finally paid off in the 90th minute when Richarlison scored the equalizer for the Spurs.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw between the two teams. Each earning one point in the standings which secured Tottenham in 16th place – out of the relegation zone, but kept Liverpool in 5th place, 2 points behind Ashton Villa.
